Lexingtonians celebrate their two loves - their significant others and a home UK basketball game at Dudley's. Dudley's is a favorite for a pre-game bite and Valentine's Day will be no exception. For those attending the game we are offering a truncated version of Valentine's menu. Seatings for the 2-Course $50 menu are at 5:00 or 5:30 to insure revelers can get to the game. For the more traditional $70/person Valentine's Day menu, diners will choose from several options in 3 different courses in addition to the amuse bouche.
Choosing from Chef Mark Richardson's decadent menu diners could begin with 3 East Coast Oyster, drizzled with mignonette, and topped with Kentucky spoonfish caviar, and a cool béarnaise gratiné. A main course of Pork Loin that has been bourbon brined and then smoked, adorned with crisp bacon, fennel, and pistachio, and placed atop polenta is a unique take on traditional favorite. Things get exciting for dessert where Chef switches the traditional cream cheese icing for Red Velvet Cake with a brown sugar buttercream, and concocts a cream cheese ice cream instead.
